See how a customer can dispute a charge in Bank of Montreal

The customer can dispute credit card transactions within 30 days from their date, for example, in the following cases:

  • the fee sum is incorrect
  • the financial operation was not authorized
  • the commission was charged twice for the same operation
  • you don't recognize the fee
  • the paid item was not delivered and you could not resolve this issue with the seller
  • the commission was charged for a service that was previously deactivated

To dispute a charge a client should call 1-844-837-9228 or visit the nearest branch of Bank of Montreal.
