To dispute a card transaction online you should:
- log in to online banking or the mobile app
- switch to the account on which the suspicious transaction was made
- choose the operation to be disputed
- choose “Report an Issue”
- follow the prompts and answer the questions
- provide additional information about the questionable transaction, like an invoice
- select the method of receiving a dispute response from CIBC: by text or email
- wait for the bank's decision
