Insurance benefits will be paid for up to 2 years from 60 days after a disability accident.
The CIBC mortgage insurance disability premiums depend on the premium rate, your age, the date of application, and the fixed monthly benefit amount.
To be eligible to apply to the CIBC mortgage disability insurance, you should:
- be a borrower, co-borrower, or guarantor on a mortgage in CIBC
- be from 18 to 64 years old
- have a residence in Canada
- have a stable job with at least 25 hours per week working schedule and not getting disability benefits from any agency
