CIBC monitors suspicious financial operations on your debit and credit cards and can send you fraud alerts in the following ways:
- An SMS from 242–225. CIBC sends them to confirm a suspicious financial transaction from your account. You must reply with “Y” or “N” to confirm a buy
- The bank can dial you at 1-800-267-5193 to inform you about blocked or suspicious transactions from your accounts. If they took place, you can block your card using the commands on the mobile keyboard,
- or CIBC can mail from [email protected] about suspicious financial operations on your accounts. In the text, you will find a fraud contact number from CIBC
CIBC never asks for your ID, password, and other details and sends links to its login pages.
