Email transfer at BMO

A client of Bank of Montreal Harris can email money transfer using Interac e-Transfer, for this he should:

• in BMO Online Banking

1. Sign in to the program
2. Select ‘Payments & Transfers’
3. Choose ‘Interac e-Transfer’
4. Fill in the receiver email and other required data (for no Autodeposit customers)
5. The recipient gets the email notice and chooses his account for depositing transfer (for no Autodeposit customers)

- in BMO Mobile banking

1. Log in to the app
2. Tap ‘Send Money’
3. Click ‘Send Interac e-Transfer’
4. Fill in the receiver email and other required data (for no Autodeposit customers)
5. The recipient gets the email notice and chooses his account for depositing transfer (for no Autodeposit customers)

BMO email transfer limit depends of your card and equals 2 500 CAD or 3 000 CAD daily, 10 000 CAD weekly or 20 000 CAD per 30 days.

BMO email transfer fee is usually absent.
