You can cancel the pre-authorized payments in the CIBC online banking, for this:
- log in to Internet Banking
- switch to Menu and choose "Customer Services"
- press "Stop Payments"
- look through and agree with the Terms and conditions
- choose "Stop a Pre-Authorized Debit"
- fill in the details of the pre-authorized payment
- choose the banking account linked to the payment
- select the account to pay the banking commission for the cancelation
- verify the details
- press "Stop Payment"
The CIBC stop payment fee is 12,50 CAD per request.
