CIBC offers two travel medical insurance plans:
- A single trip plan for you or your family covers only one trip for a particular period and is rather cheap
- A multi-trip annual plan is useful if you travel a lot and it can cover both you and your relatives, and besides it is not necessary to travel together - the insurance will still be valid. The insurance policy will be valid throughout the whole year. You can choose a plan with coverage from 8 to 18 days per trip
The CIBC travel medical insurance coverage is up to 10 million CAD and includes the following expenditures:
- medical and dental
- transportation
- convenience and comfort
To be eligible you should be a client of CIBC, a citizen of Canada, and have a Canadian Government or Provincial/Territorial Health Insurance Plan.
If you have additional questions about the CIBC medical travel insurance, you should call 1-800-281-9109.
